my subconscious

I know a person who said he could see the future in his dreams. His dreams were clear and of this world. He could dream about something, remember it clearly, and have it occur later in his life. His decision to move to California was a result of a dream he had.

He dreamt about a hallway where he broke up with a girlfriend. A few weeks later while looking for a college to attend, he found a picture of the same hallway he dreamt about in a school catalog. He decided to go to that school. Eventually he dated the girl he dreamt about, and broke up with her in the same hallway. While he was dating the girl he was conscious of the fact that she was the same girl he broke up with in his dream. He has had several other similar deja-vu experiences and believes our minds house our past, present, and future experiences.

Based on his experiences, he believes our consciousness see's the current time of experiences while our sub-sub-consciousness can access our future experiences. Our dreams come from some part of our subconscious. This idea interests me a great deal. From all the people I've asked, they've all experienced some form of deja-vu. Most not nearly as clear as the one I just described. Mine always seem to be a feeling of "I think I've seen this place before". Do you know someone who hasn't had an experience of deja-vu?

In an effort to try to see the future, I'm going to start recording my dreams and posting them here. I'll try my best to record as much detail about the dream as possible. It can be difficult though because sometimes I have a hard time remembering things. Maybe not necessarily remembering, but rather, accessing my subconsciousness.
